Glenwood Springs, CO (March 14, 2011) – After years of work and study gaining vast experience in the tourism and travel industry, Vicky Nash decided to establish her own public relations and media communications firm in March 2001. Since then Resort Trends Inc. has been providing targeted media communications services to a variety of tourism and hospitality clients throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
“My number one goal is to help the businesses I represent get visibility in the marketplace with positive story placements in influential local and national media,” said Nash, Resort Trends Chief Executive Officer.
The world famous Glenwood Hot Springs was Resort Trends’ first client. Nash has seen Colorado’s premier hot springs resort through a number of changes in the last decade, including several remodeling projects and the impressive addition of the Spa of the Rockies, a world class spa facility, in 2008. In addition to Glenwood Hot Springs, Resort Trends Inc. clients include: Gateway Canyons – a destination for leisure and learning retreats owned by Discovery Channel founder John Hendricks; Snowmass Village Tourism – a premier Colorado resort and group meeting destination; Internet Honey – a provider of marketing technologies for the travel and tourism industry; Historic Hotels of the Rockies – an association of eclectic historic accommodations located in the Western states; and Stonebridge Companies – an innovative hotel development company with properties across the United States.
Nash earned her master’s degree from the University of Colorado’s Tourism and Resort Planning program. In her nearly 30 years of experience, she has established long-term relationships with clients and influenced many national and international media outlets resulting in hundreds of story placements.
