MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Nov. 22, 2010 - Honored by Marriott International at the 2010 meeting for full-service owner and franchise partners, Merrillville, Indiana based White Lodging garnered four MINA Awards.
For the eighth consecutive year, White Lodging received the Partnership Circle Award, the highest honor Marriott presents to its owner and franchise partners for hospitality excellence. The Partnership Circle Award recognizes White Lodging for sharing Marriott’s vision and for the company’s long-term commitment to the Marriott brand initiatives as well as for its focus on associates.
“We are honored that our partnership with Marriott has been recognized in this significant way,” said Bruce White, White Lodging chairman and CEO. “We realize this prestigious award is the result of the individual efforts of our 7,000 associates who live our expressed values each and every day.”
In addition to the Partnership Circle Award, White Lodging received two Service Excellence Awards for the Marriott and Renaissance Brands and a Food and Beverage Excellence Award.
White Lodging is one of Marriott’s most prolific developers with more than 100 hotels across Marriott’s portfolio of brands. The company opened its first franchised Fairfield Inn by Marriott in 1990 and will open the 1,005-room JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis early 2011.
