Hamburg, Germany – 07 April 2010 - Joined forces in building success: Christian Berke (41) is the newly appointed Head of International Sales at tophotelprojects.com. His duties include the international expansion of the sales structure of tophotelprojects.com to attract internationally operating b2b suppliers to worldwide first class and luxury hotels and to advise them in their respective sales strategy. His sparring partner is Maarten Staps (36), who as sales manager will manage all sales activities in the United Kingdom, Ireland & Benelux out of the London office.

In his past position Berke lead the Hospitality Business Development department at Technogym. Further career steps have been with Electrolux, Accor, TUI, Hotusa, Accor, Steigenberger and Holiday Inn. Berke holds a Direct Marketing Diploma, a Master of Science (MSc) in Hotel Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Marketing Studies. He speaks four languages.
Maarten Staps has a thorough knowledge of the hotel industry as well as e-commerce and online marketing via building a professional online recruitment portal for the hotel industry. He also managed Hilton University for Hilton Hotels Corporation and worked for Kempinski Hotel Gravenbruch Frankfurt, Conrad Hotels Brussels and Adlon Hotel Kempinski Berlin. Staps holds a MBA in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor of Hotel Administration (BA). He speaks four languages.
