BOSTON, July 2 - The Pyramid Hotel Group invites current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces to stay in any of its 35 premier hotels nationwide. The hotel group is honoring these patriotic men and women and their families by offering them a special internet rate for summer vacation travel during its promotion: Summer Service Salute.
“Summer Service Salute is our way of recognizing the enormous contribution made by the men and women of our Armed Forces,” said Richard M. Kelleher, Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Pyramid Hotel Group. “As active and retired military plan their summer vacations, we hope this special rate will let them know how much their service means to us. I know they will enjoy our properties as they tour our nation’s landmarks, visit family, or simply get away. We want them to have the most enjoyable vacations possible.”
Pyramid Hotel Group’s Summer Service Salute special internet rate will be available weekends from June 28 through August 31, 2008. The rate for active, reserve, or retired military personnel and their families is twenty percent off the published government rate. To qualify for the discounted rate, military personnel need to present a valid and current government identification card at the time of booking. A “dependent” identification card is required for family members traveling separately from the military card holder. Pyramid Hotel Group’s portfolio of hotels includes properties from among the most popular hotel brand names. Reservations should be made online at the selected hotel’s website.
