Morgans Hotel Group Celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day

NEW YORK, April 1 - Morgans Hotel Group Co. (NASDAQ:MHGC), the original boutique hotel company, announced today its plans to recognize the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day with a chic new spin on “going green”. The famed hospitality innovators are excited to offer the “Treetini”, brought to you by VeeV, the World’s First Acai Spirit and only certified carbon-neutral spirit on the market. The cocktail will be showcased alongside their seasonally programmed cocktail menus in eight of their properties across the United States beginning April 1st. Participating properties include the always-abuzz Mondrian in Los Angeles, Delano, Shore Club and Mondrian in South Beach, Royalton and Hudson in New York, Clift in San Francisco, and the latest addition to their collection Ames in Boston.

The “Treetini” ($12), a refreshing blend of VeeV Acai Spirit, agave nectar, fresh lime and mint, promises to please the palette of even the most particular guest. Not to mention while sipping on this sleek new concoction-on-the-rocks, scenesters and stars alike will contribute to a cause for the greater good.
