Get Gourmet with Cheshire’s Top Chef at the Kutchenhaus Summer Party

MANCHESTER, England, June 14, 2012-

  German kitchen experts Kutchenhaus, who have a flagship store at Barton Square at The
Trafford Centre, are hosting a special one-off summer party event, which is sure to be a
hit with any foodies out there.

  The established chain have teamed up with Cheshire’s top Chef David Mooney, to host a
selection of cooking demos outside their Barton Square Store, on Saturday 23rd and Sunday
24th June from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

  Those not familiar with David, who is co-owner of the Lord Binning Pub and kitchen in
Kelsall Cheshire, may recognise his face from various BBC Good Food programmes, including
having appeared with the well-known Hairy Bikers.

  Both days promise to be fun for the whole family with music and various giveaways,
plus shoppers can find out first-hand, how to rustle up the ‘Kutchenhaus Summer Menu’
which is a series of recipes, specially devised for the kitchen company.

  Recipes will be easy to make and will use produce sourced locally from the region.
Dishes include pork with willington rhubarb dressing and soreen bread and butter pudding.
All the recipes have also been filmed, so customers can download them after the event from

  Win a GBP20,000 Kitchen!

  If gourmet cooking isn’t enough, then perhaps a brand new German kitchen will be.

  Anyone who visits the Summer Party can take a browse around Kutchenhaus’ lifestyle
kitchen displays and enter into their competition. The winner will receive a brand new
Kutchenhaus German kitchen complete with appliances, up to a value of GBP20,000.

  Anyone can enter throughout the two-day event and Chef David, will then pick-out the
winner at random and announce the name on the Sunday afternoon.

  The Northern Home Show

  Prior to the Summer Party event, Kutchenhaus will be teaming-up with Chef David Mooney
this weekend Northern Home Show at Event City.

  Cooking demos will take place at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. and will hopefully give
visitors a fantastic recipe idea they can then take home.

  Over 15,000 visitors are expected to attend the show for inspirational design ideas,
renovation tips, energy saving solutions and the latest products and services for the
home.

  The Event will take place from the 15th - 17th June and exhibitors include,
Kutchenhaus, John Lewis, BHS and Next Home.
