EMN8 Wins Red Herring 100 Global Award
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 2, 2011 - EMN8, Inc., the leading provider of self service solutions for the Quick Service Restaurant and Fast Casual Dining industries, announced today it has been named as one of the Red Herring Global 100, a prestigious award honoring the most promising and innovative private technology companies in North America, Europe and Asia. EMN8 was also named to the Red Herring North America 100 in June 2010.
“We are honored to have been selected as a Red Herring Global 100 winner and to be in the company of such innovative companies as those represented amongst this year’s winners,” said Perse Faily, CEO and President of EMN8. “The recognition by the Red Herring team is a testament to the robustness of our technology platform, the quality and growth in our customer base and the dedication of our team to delivering self service solutions that positively impact our customers’ financial bottom lines. We do so by driving revenues, maximizing product margins, enhancing guest satisfaction and resulting in repeat purchase.”
Over the years, the Red Herring award has become a mark of distinction for technology companies bringing innovation to their sectors. The Red Herring editors were amongst the first to recognize companies such as Google, Salesforce.com, YouTube, eBay and many others.
Winners of the Red Herring Global 100 were selected from the list of regional Red Herring 100 winners and finalists in North America, Europe and Asia in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Each company was evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as technology innovation, market penetration, quality of management, execution of strategy and financial performance, and in comparison with its sector peers.
The CEOs of the 200 finalists presented their companies at the Red Herring Global Conference in Santa Monica, California on January 25-26, 2011. The Red Herring Global 100 winners were announced at a special awards ceremony at the event.
“Choosing the best out of the previous three years was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, Chairman of Red Herring. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed down our list from 1,200 potential companies to 200 finalists. Trying to get it down to 100 companies was a task in itself. EMN8 should be extremely proud of its achievement as the competition was difficult.”
