VEGAS.com Introduces Travel Packaging of the Future

LAS VEGAS, NV - 03/30/09— VEGAS.com, the world’s
largest city site, announces the first fully integrated travel
shopping cart where consumers can move seamlessly through thousands
of pages of Vegas travel choices, add items and check out with a
single transaction. The technology breakthrough, self-developed by
VEGAS.com, surpasses any packaging capability existing in today’s
online travel market and gives VEGAS.com visitors a selection of 207
billion possible combinations of Vegas tourism offerings.

Customers can build any Vegas package imaginable, without following a
predetermined path. They can browse the site and assemble a
customized package which includes hotels, flights, shows, tours,
nightclub passes, golf tee times and more in one shopping cart, and
make their purchase with a single transaction (with currency
conversions for international customers). The patent-pending
technology is backed by the most complete selection of Vegas tourism
content and products available anywhere and 24/7 customer service.
Adding to hundreds of existing hotel options, shows, tours, golf,
nightclubs and restaurants, VEGAS.com now grows from one airline to
400 airlines and from 90 inbound cities to 1,700 inbound cities
worldwide.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer visitors to our city billions of
options and the ability to plan their trip any way they want,” said
Howard Lefkowitz, President and CEO of VEGAS.com.  “This is good not
only for consumers but also for our hospitality and tourism partners
throughout Las Vegas. We’ve tackled all of the complexity on the
back-end so inventory flows seamlessly for both consumers and our
partners.”

Other sites force customers to remain in the air-hotel booking path,
where they can only choose from a pre-set list of options with very
limited choices of the types of products that are a critical part of
the travel experience—shows, nightclubs, tours, golf, dining and
more.

VEGAS.com customers move at their own pace, visiting only the
sections they care about and leaving the air-hotel booking path at
any time to conduct in-depth research on Vegas products. Customers
can read reviews, watch videos and view photos. When they find
something they want to add to their trip, they can add it to their
shopping cart and then browse other sections of the site.

“It’s great to see innovation created in Southern Nevada that
benefits both Las Vegas visitors and our hospitality and tourism
industries,” said Rossi Ralenkotter, President and CEO of the Las
Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

The new shopping experience allows customers to choose from hundreds
of airlines and all Vegas hotels to assemble a package with a single
price and with special savings into the single shopping cart. Air
information is provided through direct partnerships and via
Travelport’s Worldspan GDS (global distribution system).

“I’ve worked with VEGAS.com for many years,” said H. Travis Christ,
President, Americas, for Travelport. “They’ve been innovative since
the beginning, and this is the latest in their history-making
advancements. This has a wow factor for customers wanting to purchase
travel online and a wow factor for travel providers who will benefit
from increased bookings.”
