Friday’s(R) Restaurants to Give Away $1000 A Day for 40 Days; 100 Free Appetizers or Desserts to be Awarded Each Day through January 5, 2010

CARROLLTON, Texas, Nov. 27 - T.G.I. Friday’s today announced it will make it more fun to give and receive this holiday season.  With Friday’s Gift Card Giveaway, guests who purchase Friday’s Gift Cards at participating U.S. restaurants between November 27, 2009 and January 5, 2010 will be eligible to win a daily cash prize of $1000 or one of 100 free appetizers or desserts.

“When you’re giving Friday’s Gift Cards and getting a shot at winning $1000 or free food each time you buy them, everyone wins,” said John Neitzel, president and chief operating officer of T.G.I. Friday’s USA. “Friday’s Gift Card purchasers will be saying ‘Thank God It’s the Holidays’ because their holiday shopping will be easy and fun; plus, they’ll be eligible for a $1000 bonus each time they buy.”

Friday’s Gift Card purchasers will receive instant win entry cards and can check their status at http://www.fridays.com/giftcardgiveaway.  The $1,000 daily cash winner will be contacted and awarded the prize. Each customer who wins a free appetizer or dessert will be able to print a coupon, which is required for redemption.
