Continental Connection Flight 3407 Operated by Colgan Air Involved in Accident

MANASSAS, VA - 02/13/09— Continental Connection
flight number 3407, operated by Colgan Air, was involved in an
accident at about 10:20 p.m. Eastern time today while the aircraft, a
Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, was operating between Newark Liberty
International Airport and Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
Colgan Air is in the process of collecting information and will
schedule a preliminary news briefing to be held in Buffalo.
Information concerning the time and location of the briefing will be
distributed to the news media as soon as it is available.
