New Yorkers Compete In Global Smartbox(TM) ‘Unforgettable Experiences’ Scavenger Hunt
NEW YORK, Dec. 4 - Today, Smartbox(TM), the creator of innovative gift cards that provide unforgettable experiences at budget-friendly prices, launched the first-ever “Unforgettable Experiences Hunt” spanning five cities worldwide including: Berlin, London, Sydney, Tokyo and New York.

Nearly 200 people competed in this multi-city, multi-sensory scavenger hunt that featured a sampling of Smartbox(TM) partners and experiences that are available in each region. In Berlin, participants solved a “crime” like a real “CSI,” while in Tokyo, they raced rickshaws. Sydney “hunters” became sailors for a day in a ship race, and in London, they recorded a song for Christmas, and played golf on the top of highest tower of the city.
In New York, consumers, bloggers and journalists began at the iconic Empire State Building where they viewed a virtual tour of the big apple with NY Skyride. From there, teams were given clues that led them to their next destinations, Zamora School of Dance and Ariston Floral Boutique on behalf of New York School of Flower Design. At each location, they learned about and performed the salsa or built large flags representing all countries involved made exclusively out of flowers.
Participants raced to the finish line at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square, where each team received Smartbox(TM) gift boxes based on how accurately and quickly they completed the unforgettable experiences. The winning team was Urban Cool comprised of bloggers John Simon (http://www.johnsimondaily.com), Kitty Bradshaw (http://www.kittybradshaw.com) and Yolanda “Shoshi” Shoshanna (http://www.lusciouslifestylediva.com).
