Developed by Maui Beach Resort Limited Partnership, a joint venture of Intrawest, Ledcor and J.P. Morgan, and managed by Intrawest Hospitality Management, Honua Kai Resort & Spa offers a uniquely contemporary Hawaiian experience.
Situated on 38 oceanfront acres of pristine North Beach Kaanapali, one of the island’s best snorkeling and dive beaches, Honua Kai Resort & Spa is a master plan of resort accommodations situated in two U-shaped buildings with ocean and mountain views, lush landscaping and expansive open spaces. The openness is mirrored in each of the 628 one-, two- and three-bedroom guest suites that are fully-equipped, spacious and homelike with luxury resort services. An imaginative aqua network of pools, hot tubs, natural pond bridges, waterslide, waterfalls and fountains allows for privacy and play.
Honua Kai Resort & Spa will open in two phases as follows:
January 2009 - Hokulani building opens (318 guest suites, lobby cafe, pool, fitness center)
Spring 2010 - Konea building opens (310 guest suites, lobby cafe, beachside restaurant, two pools, spa)
