Hospitality Management Intern
Job description
Perform the duties of a hospitality manager at LaCure, an upscale bed and breakfast in the heart of the Loire Valley in France. Provide customer service and extend professional courtesies to hotel guests. Should strive to surpass expectations and create an overall positive experience for guests.
Academic Qualifications:
-High school graduate or equivalent (Required)
-Major and/or coursework in Hospitality Management and/or a related field
Language Requirements:
-Fluent in English and working knowledge of French (Required)
-Fluent in English and French (Preferred)
Experience and Skill Requirements:
-Experience working in a team-based environment
-Good understanding of the highest level of customer service
-Strong leadership skills
-Outstanding organizational skills in order to manage guests and events
-Ability to perform well under pressure
-Creative and resourceful approach to problem solving
-Detailed oriented
-Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Job Responsibilities:
-Housekeeping and internal logistics
-Trash removal, recycling products, cleaning bathrooms and monitoring conditions
-Attending to the grounds and facilities of the Abbey/ La Cure
-Tracking stock and ordering supplies
-Pick up and delivery of catered goods and laundry
