Fitness Manager
Job description
The Sports Club/LA, the world’s premier sports and fitness Club Company is seeking a sharp, dynamic team player to join us in our relentless pursuit to deliver the perfect Member experience. Main responsibility will be to provide five-star customer service and hospitality to our Members and guests.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following:
FITNESS MANAGER (Full Time):
• Work the floor 20% of total time to observe, supervise, shadow and set the example.
• Work Manager on Duty shifts.
• Incorporate safety training and awareness into daily activities.
• Report fitness department repairs to Building Operations Department.
• Assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Exercise Physiology, Physical Education; or nationally recognized certification; or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Prefer three years management experience.
• Prefer minimum one year health club experience.
• Well-rounded theoretical and practical fitness knowledge.
• Good time management skills.
