Concierge Intern
Job description
Responsible for welcoming hotel guests, showing them to their rooms, assisting with luggage, expediting check-in and check-out, and setting up travel arrangements and cultural excursions. The intern may be required to lead a tour of the Loire Valley upon request
Academic Qualifications:
-Highschool graduate (Required)
-Major and/or coursework in Hospitality Management (Preferred)
Language Requirements:
-Fluent in English and working knowledge of French (Required)
-Fluent in English and French (Preferred)
Experience and Skill Requirements:
-French Language fluency
-Work independently with minimal supervision
-Possess strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and task management ability
-Must be a self-starter with leadership qualities
-Detail-oriented
-Enthusiastic
-Great interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities:
-Making dining reservations for patrons
-Assisting with obtaining tickets for various events
-Pick up and deliver items and run errands for guests
-Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations
-Receive, store, and deliver luggage and mail
-Arrange for interpreters or translators when patrons require such services
-Perform office duties as needed
