Job description

Minimum qualification is a Senior Certificate.  An appropriate hospitality related tertiary qualification will be an advantage
Minimum of five years experience in the management of hotel/game lodge facilities.

A proven administrative and financial management background
The ability to supervise, motivate, train and communicate with staff at all levels
A knowledge of horse management
A high degree of self-motivation and pro-activity
A proven track record of excellent public relations and guest empathy skills
To enjoy working with the general public and be able to deal with any conflict situations
The ability to work under pressure and independently
A knowledge and ability to guide and oversee the maintenance of facilities in the campsite and stables.
To implement the Camp’s Business Plan and formulate other methods of increasing occupancy levels
Good organisational skills
Full linguistic ability in English, with good communication skills in Zulu and Afrikaans being a distinct advantage
Understanding of marketing principles
Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office and Accpac
Must enjoy working as part of a team
Valid code 08 driver’s licence
Proven Diversity Management skills

Manage large visitor facilities and create opportunities to improve the guest experience as well as the viability and profitability of the facilities
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
Manage, motivate and lead employees effectively
Ensure the total positive guest experience

Salary indication:

R213 32, p.a
