An established multi national catering firm is seeking high caliber individual to join its organization in Hong Kong as a Business Development Manager.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the position is responsible in reaching the company’s set objectives in the F&B market segment by developing new contract and opportunities in the sector. You will scope out the market and understand consumer and competitors behaviors and constantly gather, analyze and update information relating to this sector by identifying the strength and weakness of the company strategy in Hong Kong. You will also oversee and manage the standards of designing commercial proposals specific to prospects and the clients and ensure that it is in line with the relevant market segment and in order with the company’s overall objective.
To be successful in this job, you should have a minimum tertiary degree with at least 5 years experience with a BD function in the hospitality field. You should have outstanding networking abilities and relationship building skills with a clear understanding on the key stages in the selling process and knowledge of effectively closing a deal. Someone with total commitment to exceeding his/her own objectives is highly preferred. You should also be focus on customer/client satisfaction with a track record of achieving revenue objectives. Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Fluency is English is a must for this role.
