Job description
We Pratham Services are a recruitment consulting company operating from Gurgaon, India.
Presently we have following permanent positions with a reputed and one of the largest privately-held holding conglomerates in the Middle East headquartered at Jeddah, KSA and having a diversified business interest including Real Estate, Hospitality, Logistics and Healthcare.
The position is based at Jeddah for their chain of luxury hotels and resort properties, which are affiliated to the world’s leading hospitality brands as follows:
WAITERS – CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Must have completed a relevant educational course from a culinary school.
• Must have worked in high-end/ 5star Hotels or restaurants for at least 5 years.
• Must be presentable.
• Must speak and write fluent English, and speaking other EU languages is a plus.
• Ability to perform duties which require standing and/or moving throughout a crowded restaurant at a fast pace for periods up to eight (8) hthes or longer, if needed;
• Ability to maneuver swiftly up and down stairs and through crowded dining, beverage and expo areas;
• Ability to lift, balance and deliver food and drinks on trays (weighing up to 12 kilos) and deliver to tables in a timely manner;
• Ability to perform duties, which require speed, efficiency and organizational skills;
• Ability to perform duties which require bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching and carrying trays, bins and tubs (weighing up to 12 kilos).
• Ability to clearly speak and listen attentively to all guests and staff members in loud conditions;
• Ability to restock shelves which may require the lifting and carrying of boxes or containers (weighing up to 12 kilos), and the stowage of the boxes by bending, kneeling and reaching;
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the use of computerized point of sales systems and the handling of all forms of money.
