Chief Maintenance Engineer
Job description
The Chief Maintenance Engineer is a member of the Property Management Team. He/she has leadership and management responsibilities for the Maintenance operations and staff. The Chief Maintenance Engineer will have the opportunity to utilize his/her skills and talents to:
* Contribute to high-levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring that guests receive prompt and courteous maintenance service and that issues are resolved the first time
* Perform all specific and general repairs for the hotel
* Institute and utilize preventative maintenance programs for the hotel equipment, guestrooms, mechanical and common areas
* Understand and apply all required safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests
* Maintain pool, whirlpool, and fitness center according to the company, the hotel brand and state and local codes
* Maintain outdoor appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot
