Job description
To serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. Also, to prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests, and act as cashier for the lounge.
Sheraton JFK Airport is a new full service hotel scheduled to open August 2007 with a heated indoor pool, whirlpool, Rosemarys Lounge and Restaurant, SPG floor, Club level with Concierge Lounge and full time bell service. All 150 guest rooms will feature The Sweet Sleeper bed along with a 32” LCD HDTV and high speed internet access. The lobby will be luxuriously appointed with upscale furnishings warmed by a lovely fireplace. Complimentary shuttle service to and from JFK Airport will be available 7 days per week 24 hours per day. The meeting space will accommodate from 5-60 guests whether your needs are for the Board Room with its permanent setting for up to 10 people or our spacious 1900 square foot JFK Ballroom that is divisible into 2 equal sections. A full accoutrement of audio visual will be available upon request. The hotel is conveniently located ½ mile from JFK Airport, minutes from Shea Stadium, Flushing Meadow Park and U.S. Open Tennis. Sheraton JFK Airport is accessible from Van Wyck Expressway (I-678), Belt Parkway, Conduit Avenue and the Airtrain Station.
