Hi, any tips and recommendations on how and where to offer my 40 rooms online for reservations would be much appreciated. My hotel is located in the Netherlands and since I have an increased revenue from foreign tourists I would like the rooms to be globally available through the internet for reservations to get as much exposure as possible.
There are lots of good Reservation solutions out there.
You can either
1.) Allow someone else to advertise for you, (hotels.com) etc
2.)Buy tailored software for your website to allow you to take online bookings.

TravelCLICK have a product I’ve used: Channel Manager. Basically you fill out your rates and then it submits it to lots of other engines. You can do it yourself, but it gets a bit of a mind bend. Better working from one sheet as if you fill out one website with cut down prices it can be a bind to find out where all the bookings are coming from [especially people using DIGG and Stumbleupon for hotel discounts].
