I think that i like desserts and sweets too much it tends me to stay happy and my mood is always fresh and good when i eat these sweet dishes…. I want to share a recipe with you people as well.

Caramel Shortbread Squares:-
These cookies consist of a shortbread crust, firm caramel center, and a milk chocolate top. They are super-easy to make and they take only 20 minutes to bake.

Ingredients

  * 2/3 cup butter, softened
  * 1/4 cup white sugar
  * 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  * 1/2 cup butter
  * 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  * 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  * 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  * 1 1/4 cups milk chocolate chips.

Directions:-

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C).
2. In a medium bowl, mix together 2/3 cup butter, white sugar, and flour until evenly crumbly. Press into a 9 inch square baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
3. In a 2 quart saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Bring to a boil. Continue to boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon for about 3 minutes. Pour over baked crust (warm or cool). Cool until it begins to firm.
4. Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute, then stir and continue to heat and stir at 20 second intervals until chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly to cover completely. Chill. Cut into 1 inch squares. These need to be small because they are so rich.

My favorite is cocoa brownies:

10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks) unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (natural or Dutch-process)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cold large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup walnut or pecan pieces (optional)

-
Preheat he oven for 325°F. Put parchment paper or foil on the bottom and side of the baking pan, leaving an overhang on two opposite sides.
Combine sugar, butter, cocoa and salt in a medium heatproof bowl and set it in a wide skillet or simmering water. Stir from time to time till the butter melted and the mixture is smooth and hot. Remove the bowl from the skillet and set aside briefly until the mixture is only warm, not hot. Stir vanilla with wooden spoon and add eggs one at a time, stirring vigorously after each one. When the batter looks thick and shiny add flour and stirr till you can’t see it any longer, then beat it vigorously for 40 stroke with wooden spoon or rubber spatula. Spread evenly in the lined pan. Lift up the ends of the parchment or foil liner, and transfer thebrownies to a cutting board. Cut into 16 or 25 squares.

hello,
My favorite dish is very simple. With leftover turkey from every Thanksgiving I make a sandwich I am not sure that anyone else makes. I will chop up little bits of the turkey and put it on a nice rye bread, place some stuffing and some ‘Cranberry relish’** that was probably invented by my family, a bit of pepper, another topping of your choice and you have got yourself one of the best damn sandwiches you could ever find, not to mention one of the cheapest! This always goes great with a nice helping of orange juice, but milk or water are also nice.

Probably my second favorite meal is pizza or sausage… Or a pizza with sausage! Put a can of Dr Pepper next to it, and you will have a friend for life.

I like a french recipe called the “Beef Bourguignon”. This is actually a traditional French food prepared with beef braised in red wine originally Burgundy wine and beef broth, flavored with garlic, onions, carrots, and a bouquet garni and garnished with mushrooms.
