I am working as an assistant F&B;manager in a hotel for 2 years now and want to progress my career. I have been thinking of doing an MBA program but I am not sure how much this would add to a career path within the hospitality sector. Is it a requirement to progress further and worth the investment?

Hi, I got offered a job at a hotel in Thailand with Thai management. The hotel looks very promising and I am interested in going. It would be nice to hear some experiences of western people that have worked in a hotel in Thailand. Things like the impact of cultural differences on the workfloor, Thai management style, career development or any other contributing feedback would be very welcome. Thanks!
