The Culinary Academy
The Culinary Academy’s 15 Months Advanced Food and Wine Chefs Diploma course will open the doors of the culinary world to you. With our emphasis not just on the academic, but particularly on practical experience to back this training up, you will be able to find employment in a working kitchen as soon as you graduate.
Classes are small. Our 40 students are looked after by 14 dedicated full time members of staff and a number of external lecturers. You are guaranteed to get individual and personal attention from this professional team. Under their supervision you’ll spend at least 4 to 6 hours of every day in practical cooking and baking sessions.
Following 7-months of intensive theoretical and practical training at the Academy, you’ll be placed in the industry for 5-months to get on-the-job experience in a working kitchen. You’ll also return to the Academy twice a month for further theoretical tuition. You’ll be constantly evaluated and tested throughout the year.
At the end of a year, following successful completion of all exams, you’ll graduate as a professional chef, ready to enter the finest kitchens, anywhere in the world.
