Amritara is a brand owned by Anantara Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd (AH&R, http://www.anantara.in). The company was incorporated in September 2005 as Anantara Hospitality and then re-christened as Anantara Hotels & Resorts in Summer 2008. AH&R is a result of a deep rooted passion and commitment from a team of hotel professional from across the globe who believe that they can deliver a Hospitality experience with a “difference”. AH&R will continue to expand in the Boutique Experiential Resort space pan India.

Brand “Amritara”
The word Amritara is a combination of 02 sanskrit works i.e. “Amrit” meaning pure or nector of god and “tara” is the celestial body or stars. Our vision is to deliver an Indian Experience in its purest form. Tara as the word indicates (in a hotel / resort context) denotes excellence & quality in our work. Our team is committed to excel in the business of delivering a “100% Indian Experiential Resort”. Stars will be our inspiration and reward. Amritara will stand for a cluster of resorts offering Indian Experiences with a high sense of design and aesthetics.
